Baseball Recap: Northeast Jones Takes Down Bay in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Northeast Jones had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bay on Friday, sneaking past 6-4. The victory continues a trend for Northeast Jones in their matchups with Bay: they've now won three in a row.

Ryne Herrington and Cruz Sullins did most of the damage at the plate: Herrington went 2-for-3 with one home run, while Sullins went 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run was Herrington's first of the season. Carter Wiginton was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
