Softball Game Preview: Corinth Warriors vs. Kossuth Aggies

The Corinth Warriors will square off against the Kossuth Aggies at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Corinth's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Itawamba Agricultural on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Warriors' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Corinth saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Moore, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Moore snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Kossuth also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Pontotoc by a score of 10-5. The loss was the Aggies' first of the season.

Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Kossuth, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
