Winnsboro is 10-0 against Mount Vernon since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Winnsboro Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mount Vernon Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Winnsboro will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Winnsboro blew past Commerce, posting a 70-27 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mount Vernon unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Rains 63-35. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Wildcats are ranked 72nd).

Winnsboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 23 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 30-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for Mount Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.
