Volleyball Recap: Gateway Wins Going Away Against Colonial

Gateway's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Colonial Grenadiers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gateway took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-4, 25-15.

Gateway's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Colonial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Gateway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Tohopekaliga on the 2nd. As for Colonial, after both having extra time off, they and Liberty will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
