Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kylie Bunch and Farrah Hilliard Lead Soddy Daisy to Victory

Soddy Daisy lost to Chattanooga Christian back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chargers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Soddy Daisy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 21-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Leading Soddy Daisy to victory were Farrah Hilliard and Kylie Bunch. Hilliard had 19 digs and one assist, while Bunch had two aces and one assist. With that strong performance, Hilliard is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Addison Ward also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Soddy Daisy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Chattanooga Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soddy Daisy will head out to challenge Howard Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chattanooga Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Concord Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
