With a playoff win on the line, American Fork rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 59-50 win over the Fremont Silverwolves. The victory continues a trend for the Cavemen in their matchups with the Silverwolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Bryce Mella was his usual excellent self, going 6-for-11 to rack up 18 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Jax Clark, who went 5-for-9 en route to 15 points and six rebounds.

American Fork was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

American Fork's record is now 8-16. As for Fremont, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.

Looking ahead, American Fork will challenge Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Davis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully American Fork likes a good challenge. Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
