Softball Game Preview: Royal Palm Beach Wildcats vs. Glades Central Raiders

For the second week in a row, Royal Palm Beach is taking on Glades Central. The Wildcats will host the Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Royal Palm Beach knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Glades Central likes a good challenge.

Royal Palm Beach took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Glades Central with a sharp 18-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won seven in a row.

Valeria Mejia was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season.

Royal Palm Beach's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Glades Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
