It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brighton had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Taylorsville Warriors 6-1. That looming 6-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Brighton yet this season.

Their offense was hitting Taylorsville from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Adem Odobasic led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Brighton's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Taylorsville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Coming up, Brighton will venture away from home to take on Alta at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alta will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Brighton surely won't give up without a fight. Taylorsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
