Basketball Recap: Nunamiut Comes Up Short

Nunamiut lost a heartbreaker to Jimmy Huntington when they met last Thursday, and they left with a heavy heart again on Saturday. The Nunamiut Amaguq received a blow as they fell 40-26 to the Jimmy Huntington Hustlers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hustlers this season, with their most recent loss being a 42-40 defeat on Friday.

Despite the loss, Nunamiut still got an impressive performance from Anna Nukapigak, who posted 19 points.

Leading Jimmy Huntington to victory were Carmen Vent and Ciara Vent. Carmen had 11 points, while Ciara scored 11 points.

Nunamiut's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Jimmy Huntington, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-9.

As of now, neither Nunamiut nor Jimmy Huntington have any future games scheduled.
