Football Recap: Shore Regional Finds Playoff Glory Versus Point Pleasant Beach + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Shore Regional had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls as they made off with a 30-6 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 24 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Shore Regional's sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points over those games. As for Point Pleasant Beach, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-3.

Coming up, Shore Regional will head out on the road to challenge Burlington City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Burlington City's defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so Shore Regional's offense will have their work cut out for them.
