After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bonanza, Eldorado was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Chaparral Cowboys by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Firehawks as it spelled an end to their six-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-16, 16-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Kaliyah Guillory paced Eldorado's offense, picking up 12 kills. Guillory got some help from Alyssa Ramos and her 31 assists. Deana Kamaka- Maauga controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Eldorado's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-13. As for Chaparral, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Coming up, Eldorado will head out to take on Cheyenne at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaparral, they will be playing at home against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
