Softball Recap: Milton Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milton). They put the hurt on the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks with a sharp 22-7 victory on Thursday. The Red Hawks have beaten the Blackhawks the last nine times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blackhawks has come to flipping the script.

Milton's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Atkinson, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
