Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Maple River

Maple River entered their tilt with Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 71-62 win over the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buccaneers, too.

Maple River's victory bumped their record up to 19-13. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maple River will welcome St. Clair at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown, they will be playing at home against Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
