Soccer Game Preview: Grant vs. Stillwater

Grant is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will challenge the Stillwater Pioneers at 8:00 p.m. Grant's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Grant fell victim to Crooked Oak and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ruf-Nex by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stillwater). They blew past Bishop Kelley 5-1 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Stillwater and bumps their season record up to 3-6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matches. As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
