Football Recap: Wilcox Starts off Right with Win over Macdonald

Wilcox took care of business in their home opener on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the MacDonald Condor a 7-0 shutout. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Condor, too.

MacDonald is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Wilcox and MacDonald will both be playing Monta Vista the next time they take the field. The Condor will host the Matadors at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Chargers will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
