Volleyball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Falls Short of Payson in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crimson Cliffs can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Payson Lions on Saturday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August.

Audry Stratton paced Crimson Cliffs' offense, picking up seven kills. Stratton got some help from Tehanie Waters and her 11 assists. Stratton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Crimson Cliffs' loss dropped their record down to 24-8. As for Payson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-12.
