Baseball Recap: Campo Verde Coyotes vs. Horizon Huskies
It's playoff time, and Campo Verde had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Horizon Huskies on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Coyotes as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Anthony Flacco spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. Campo Verde is 5-2 when Flacco allows one or fewer earned runs, but 8-11 otherwise.
