Soccer Recap: Oak Harbor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nooksack Valley last Thursday, Oak Harbor came back down to earth. Oak Harbor came up short against the Sedro-Woolley Cubs on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Oak Harbor were not able to make up for their loss to Sedro-Woolley from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Oak Harbor's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Sedro-Woolley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Oak Harbor is set to challenge their familiar foe Anacortes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sedro-Woolley will face off against rival Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
