Wheaton Academy came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against St. Laurence, but Leah Romano wouldn't allow it. The Vikings came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Romano, who had 11 digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

The win made it two in a row for St. Laurence and bumps their season record up to 9-3. As for Wheaton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

St. Laurence has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Stagg on the 9th. As for Wheaton Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Proviso East on the 9th.
