Recap: Clarkdale Bulldogs vs. Scott Central Rebels
The Clarkdale Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against Scott Central by the margin of a single free throw, 56-55. The victory was just what Clarkdale needed coming off of a 72-47 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clarkdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cade Culpepper, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Ladonya Adams was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five steals.
Clarkdale's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Scott Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-9.
Clarkdale will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Scott Central, they will head out on the road to take on Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Newton is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
