Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. George Washington Prep

Jordan and George Washington Prep are an even 4-4-1 against one another since January of 2019, but likely not for long. The Jordan Bulldogs will take on the George Washington Prep Generals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan will be strutting in after a win while George Washington Prep will be coming in after a loss.

Jordan will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Dorsey on Friday. Everything went Jordan's way against Dorsey as Jordan made off with a 4-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bulldogs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Dorsey with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Christian Gonzalez (2), Jonathan Tobias, and Brayn Rivera.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for George Washington Prep's offense. They came up short against Hawkins on Monday, falling 6-0. The Generals have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

George Washington Prep now has a losing record at 5-6-3. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 6-2-1.

Jordan came out on top in a nail-biter against George Washington Prep in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jordan since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
