There's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Seattle Prep Panthers on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-9 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lynx as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Brienna Minton was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakota Blokker, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3.
Lincoln was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Lincoln's record now sits at 5-9. As for Seattle Prep, their record is now 5-11.
