Basketball Recap: Uintah Utes vs. Bonneville Bees
Uintah saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bonneville Bees.

Several Utes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily Bake, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave Bake a new career-high in points. Aunika Gehring was another key player, putting up six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Bonneville can attribute much of their success to Diana Peterson, who went 7 of 13 on her way to 18 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaycie Cook, who posted ten points and six rebounds.
Uintah's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Bonneville, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
Uintah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-40 loss against Mountain View on the 7th. As for Bonneville, they will face off against Preston at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
