Football Recap: Beach Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 28-20 to the Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Black Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hettinger/Scranton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Beach will challenge Standing Rock on Friday. The Buccaneers will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 73.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hettinger/Scranton, they will face off against Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig]/Flasher on Friday. The Storm's defense has only allowed 14.5 points per game this season, so the Black Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
