The Indio Rajahs will take on the Yucca Valley Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Indio will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Indio is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Coachella Valley get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Thursday. The Rajahs haven't had any issues with the Mighty Arabs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Alyssa Perez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jaeda Diaz was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Clover Cordova, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Yucca Valley's good fortune finally ran out back in March. They and Arroyo Valley finished up on equal footing with an 11-11 draw.
With that draw, Yucca Valley's record moves to 7-5-1. As for Indio, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Indio hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .367. However, it's not like Yucca Valley struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Indio's way against Yucca Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Indio made off with a 22-4 victory. Do the Rajahs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
