It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Zionsville had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Noblesville Millers 1-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Millers: they've now won five in a row.

The result came thanks to Davis Moore's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Zionsville's win bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Noblesville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-11.

Coming up, Zionsville will face off against Fishers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Noblesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
