Basketball Preview: Foothills Community Christian Falcons vs. Great Falls HomeSchool Bulldogs

Foothills Community Christian is 9-1 against the Bulldogs since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Foothills Community Christian Falcons will be playing at home against the Great Falls HomeSchool Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Foothills Community Christian has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while the Bulldogs will arrive with three straight wins.

On Saturday, Foothills Community Christian suffered a tough 44-19 defeat at the hands of the Knights. Foothills Community Christian was down 38-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Addison Teini, who scored seven points.

Meanwhile, Great Falls HomeSchool can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent game back in January. They claimed a resounding 60-28 win over Petra Academy at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-13.

Foothills Community Christian dropped their record down to 5-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.7 points per game. As for Great Falls HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Foothills Community Christian was taken down by the Bulldogs 69-19 when the teams last played back in January. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Foothills Community Christian was down 46-14.
