Folsom had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Marin Catholic Wildcats 3-2 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldogs, who have now won 11 matchups in a row.

Folsom was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-105), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 20-25, 15-13.

Khloe Wong went supernova, getting 30 digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Wong wasn't the only good servers: Folsom was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in ten consecutive contests.

Folsom's record is now 34-9. As for Marin Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-8 record this season.

Folsom will venture away from home to square off against Archbishop Mitty at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Marin Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
