Basketball Recap: New Lothrop Triumphs

New Lothrop's game back in December of 2024 was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lakeville Falcons, sneaking past 41-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since February 6, 2024.

New Lothrop's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4. As for Lakeville, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

New Lothrop will challenge Hill-McCloy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lakeville, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Morrice at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
