Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mount View walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Fort Fairfield Tigers with a sharp 63-43 victory on Wednesday. That looming 63-43 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Mount View has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for Fort Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coming up, Mount View will square off against Mattanawcook at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mattanawcook will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Mount View surely won't give up without a fight. Fort Fairfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
