After losing to Rancho San Juan the last time they met, Seaside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Seaside Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Seaside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Rancho San Juan still got an impressive performance from Devin Francisco, who had 53 digs. The dominant performance gave Francisco a new career-high in digs.

Seaside's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Rancho San Juan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
