Basketball Game Preview: South Iredell Vikings vs. North Mecklenburg Vikings

South Iredell will face off against North Mecklenburg at 4:30 a.m. on Friday. South Iredell has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games.

On Monday, South Iredell lost to Porter Ridge on the road by a 74-57 margin. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, North Mecklenburg took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They blew past Rocky River, posting an 83-31 victory. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on seven straight dating back to last season.

South Iredell's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1. As for North Mecklenburg, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
