Classical faced Chariho in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Purple were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Chargers. The Purple haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Classical never let Chariho on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 27-25.

When it comes to explaining why Chariho lost, don't look at Jaxson Vachon. Despite the final result, he had 20 digs and one assist. Vachon is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Classical's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Chariho, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.
