On Friday, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic faced Father Judge in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic Friars/Pandas sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 66-64 victory over the Father Judge Crusaders. Winning may never get old, but the Friars/Pandas sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Father Judge, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic will welcome Devon Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Father Judge, they will host La Salle College at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. La Salle College knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Father Judge likes a good challenge.
