Football Recap: Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions vs. Chandler Wolves
After flying high against Tolleson last Friday, Mountain Ridge came back down to earth. The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions were dealt a 63-3 defeat at the hands of the Chandler Wolves on Thursday. The Mountain Lions haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Lukas Baughman threw for 61 yards on 12 of 24 attempts. On the ground,

Tristan Halsana was a one-man wrecking crew for Chandler as he rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Khairi Johnson was another key rusher, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Mountain Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Chandler, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Mountain Ridge will host Williams Field at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chandler, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
