Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Comes Up Short

Oswego East lost against Edwardsville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up 12 kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his 11 assists.

Edwardsville had a senior duo take command as Lucas Marsh had 12 assists and four digs and Nicholas Paschall had 13 assists and four digs.

Oswego East now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Edwardsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oswego East will challenge Plainfield North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edwardsville, they will take on Belleville East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
