Soccer Game Preview: Polytechnic vs. Lake Belton

The Polytechnic Parrots will take on the Lake Belton Broncos in a tournament on Saturday. Polytechnic will be strutting in after a win while Lake Belton will be coming in after a defeat.

Polytechnic is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Ellison a 4-0 shutout on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Polytechnic needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Meanwhile, Lake Belton didn't have quite enough to beat Taylor on Friday and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for Lake Belton in their meetings with Taylor: they've now lost three in a row.

Lake Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Polytechnic, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
