Baseball Recap: Lab Museum United Has No Trouble Against Seward Park

Lab Museum United got themselves on the board against Seward Park on Wednesday, but Seward Park never followed suit. They blew past the Bears 10-0.

Oscar Gollust made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Gollust was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Frank Leimsider was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Eddie Mejia was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lab Museum United always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seward Park only posted an OBP of .333.

Lab Museum United's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Seward Park, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Lab Museum United will have a chance to go back-to-back against Seward Park: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st.
