Volleyball Recap: Paradise Takes a Loss

If Paradise was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Poolville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers fell just short of the Denver City Mustangs by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Paradise has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Denver City, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Looking ahead, Paradise will take on Llano in a tournament on Friday. As for Denver City, they will host Andrews at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
