Baseball Recap: Northeastern Comes Up Short

Northeastern lost against First Flight back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Northeastern Eagles lost 16-6 to the First Flight Nighthawks.

Julian Jones made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Boyd, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Northeastern's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2. As for First Flight, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Northeastern will be playing in front of their home fans against First Flight at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for First Flight, they will square off against Bear Grass Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
