McMichael won the last time they faced Bishop McGuinness and things went their way on Monday too. The Phoenix blew past the Villains 3-0.

McMichael was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

Eva Lockhart paced McMichael's offense, picking up ten kills. Lockhart got some help from Carrington Vaughn and her 13 assists. Emily Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Bishop McGuinness still got an impressive performance from Natalie Ma, who had 19 digs and one assist. Ma is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

McMichael has been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Bishop McGuinness, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4.
