Woodville posted their closest victory since August 14th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Orangefield Bobcats 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Bobcats last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The win got Woodville back to even at 8-8. As for Orangefield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Woodville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Little Cypress-Mauriceville on the 23rd. As for Orangefield, they will host Bridge City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bobcats surely won't give up without a fight.
