Baseball Recap: 12 Straight Home Victories for Sherwood

Sherwood entered their tilt with Newberg on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Tigers. That's two games straight that the Bowmen have won by just one run.

Grady Farrar looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gavyn Murphy, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Connor Parry was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
