Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Godley blew past Kennedale 12-1. The result was nothing new for Godley, who have now won 18 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Karlee Clark and Sierra Beratto made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Clark pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Beratto tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Clark has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. At bat, Clark scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Beratto scored a run while going 2-for-4.
