Soccer Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Sumter County Panthers. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Red Jackets couldn't quite close it out.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sumter County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will venture away from home to take on Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sumter County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crisp County at 5:30 p.m. on March 31st.
