Preview: Round Valley Mustangs vs. Potter Valley Bearcats
Round Valley is 9-1 against Potter Valley since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Round Valley Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Potter Valley Bearcats at 8:00 p.m. Round Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Potter Valley will be coming in after a defeat.
Round Valley put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They really took it to Anderson Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-28 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-14.
Meanwhile, sadly, Potter Valley is still looking for their first win of the season after 15 contests. They had to suffer through a rough 91-26 loss at the hands of Point Arena. Potter Valley has not had much luck with Point Arena recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Round Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Potter Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Round Valley against Potter Valley when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 92-27 win. Does Round Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Potter Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
