Soccer Recap: El Segundo Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, El Segundo was not quite Redondo Union's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Sea Hawks by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Redondo Union this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in December of 2025.

El Segundo has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6-1 record this season. As for Redondo Union, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Segundo is set to take on their familiar foe Mira Costa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Redondo Union will challenge rival South at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
