Volleyball Game Preview: Grace Davis Spartans vs. Beyer Patriots

Grace Davis is 0-3 against Beyer since March of 2024 but things could change on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m.

Grace Davis came up short against Livingston on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-10, 25-10.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Beyer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past Central Valley 3-0 on Wednesday.

Beyer not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Central Valley between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-20.

Grace Davis better focus on containing Cruz Hibbard and Hayes Terry as the pair were huge in Beyer's win. Hibbard had 21 assists and eight digs, while Terry had 13 digs and one block. That's the most digs Terry has posted since back in May of 2024.

Beyer is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Grace Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
