Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Has No Trouble Against Granger

Hillcrest won the last time they faced Granger and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

One reason for the win was Hillcrest's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-5.

Nola Bonner paced Hillcrest's offense, picking up seven kills. Bonner got some help from Jane Thomas and her 16 assists. Kate Lelepali controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Hillcrest now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Granger, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Hillcrest has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Kearns on the 9th. As for Granger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against West Jordan on the 9th.
