It was a good run, but East Jefferson unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 11-1 to the Covenant Christian Academy Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since February 21st.

East Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Covenant Christian Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Jefferson will square off against West Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Covenant Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Covenant Christian Academy Lions challenge Hanson Memorial Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. They know how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Hanson Memorial like a good challenge.
